Submission Guidelines:

Author Final Paper Preparation and Submission Instructions

Note: firm deadline on Oct. 14, 2011, 23:59 Hawaii time.

The submitting author must select one and only one of the four tracks when submitting the paper by following the corresponding link below. Duplicated submissions (to multiple tracks) will be rejected unless the track chairs are informed in advance and before the submission deadline (in case of a mistake) of the duplicates to be removed. In any case, the track chairs reserve the right to move a paper from one track to another in case they feel the content is more appropriate to a track different from the one where it was submitted.

Papers must be submitted with PDF format, and must be 10 pages or less and produced using the recommended templates (Latex template). Any one of the following will be cause for immediate rejection:

  • Length of more than 10 pages (the Start manager should automatically reject paper longer than 10 pages, but it is the author’s responsibility to check the length of the paper before the submission);
  • Missed conformance with respect to the templates, especially with respect to: reduced page margins, reduced font size,  reduced line spacing;

Papers must be original contributions. They must not have been submitted elsewhere or published elsewhere. It is however acceptable to submit works that have extensions of previous submissions to Workshops or the IEEE Embedded Systems Letters (given the special nature of the journal) provided that the paper submitted to RTAS has significant new content and originality according to the reviewers and the chairs.

By submitting the paper, authors acknowledge that at least one of them will register for the conference and present in person her/his work in case it is accepted.

The technical program will be integrated by contributions from invited speakers and presentations from projects and case studies from the academia and the industry.

Awards will be awarded to the best paper and the best paper with a student as first author (in this case, the submitting author must check the student award checkbox upon submissions).
