Work-in-Progress Session Call for Papers RTAS'08 seeks work-in-progress papers describing contributions and preliminary results in the broad field of embedded and real-time computing, control, and communication. Contributions can cover timing or QoS issues in computation and networking, systems integration, operating systems, middleware, tools, scheduling, sensor networks, software engineering, dependability, data management, programming languages, system development tools, performance modeling, and adaptive QoS control. We particularly encourage submissions on real-time and embedded applications ranging from industrial embedded applications such as aeronautics and automotive systems to multimedia, telecommunication, mobile devices and pervasive computing. Of particular interest are papers presenting experiments, implementations, and experiences in application domains that present new model problems or identify significant temporal or QoS constraints. Important dates
Submission Papers should be a maximum of 4 pages in IEEE conference paper format sent in pdf format to ylu@cse.unl.edu Program committee:
Any request for more information can be sent to Ying Lu (ylu@cse.unl.edu)
